ICMP Elevate x Tigon Music
A cross sector alliance to use music as an empowerment tool for communities in Merseyside
Overview
In 2024 Tigon Music, a subsidiary of Leading Support For Humanity (LSFH), started a collaboration with The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) in Liverpool as part of a cross sector alliance to use music as an empowerment tool to nurture and support youth and young adults.
ICMP’s commitment to promoting and driving positive community impact, beyond providing jobs or generating profit, is at the heart of this initiative. They have so far sponsored 15 participants through taking their brand of Elevate online courses, ranging from artist development to instrumental disciplines.
The programme is focused on supporting emerging, mid-career and independent artists from Merseyside facing challenges or societal barriers affecting their growth. This initiative is providing them the opportunity to overcome these setbacks and to grow their skills and knowledge to advance their careers and personal development.
